Intro
The role I have chosen is photo-real 3D Environment modeler. I have chosen this role because I think I have great knowledge on 3D modelling as well as I really enjoy creating 3D environments. Telling a story by environment and atmosphere.
I will be creating a 3D environment of a hospital. Where I will use the camera technique to tell a story. E.g. at the start of the film it will be a Utopian environment then slowly turns into a dystonia environment. The reason I decided to create a hospital is because I want to challenge myself to create something is at industry level. And I feel that with a hospital I can tell a story better to the audience.
In this project, I will be creating a short 3D film of an environment. I will be gathering references, coming up with concepts and modelling the environment. Also, I will be texturing them to make it photo-real. I would like to learn how to create realistic lighting, which will be very useful to render my models for this project and future projects. In the past I have struggled to showcase by models due to poor lighting.
In this project, I would like to achieve to create a robust 3D environment which will be used on my showreel. I will try to manage my time as I would like sharpen my skills, which can take some time.

Research - Style
This is a showreel that I have found which looks really good. I like the style of the props in that video. It shows it's been used and there's a story to different props.

I like how the robot was integrated to to environment. Looks photo-real which one of things I want to tackle in this unit.

I really like the first 2 minute 30 second cinematic trailer of Tom Clancy's The Division, where the environment is animated. It starts with as a normal city slowly morphs into a war zone. The time-laps of the environment tells story on what is happening. I would like to create something that for my final major project.

Concept
This is a concept of the first room where it shows someone has been living there. I want the camera to start from the window looking outside slowly camera zooms out to reveals the room.
This a low shot showing the abandoned building.
Camera movement
For my camera angles I really like the finest hours camera movement. It starts as nothing has happen slowly the camera zooms outs to reveal half of the ship is missing.
Since I will be using the render farm I have organised my camera and frames. Which will make it easier for me to render using render farm and my machine.

Downloaded models
The two models that I have downloads are the phone and the fire alarm. Even though It was modelled I had to remodel it as it had bad line flow. I also had to re-texture them to make it blend into my environment.

The new's footage used in the animation on the TV.
This is a heart rate monitor screen that I will be using for my animation. I have bought the animation from videohive.net
